Century-Old Cedar Pruning
Perugia Centro
Maintenance pruning on a magnificent Lebanese cedar over 80 years old in the historic centre of Perugia. The tree had several dead branches in the upper crown and a general overloading of the main limbs that was compromising its stability. Using tree climbing techniques, we reached every part of the crown to remove deadwood, lighten the overburdened branches, and restore balance to the overall structure of the tree. The intervention required particular care to preserve the cedar's natural form, respecting its grandeur while ensuring the safety of the surrounding area, which is frequented daily by residents and visitors to the historic centre.

Controlled Poplar Felling
Corciano (PG)
Controlled felling of a 25-metre poplar located between two houses in Corciano. The tree showed clear signs of internal decay at the base of the trunk and a dangerous lean towards one of the adjacent properties. Given the extremely confined location, with less than three metres between the buildings, we chose a progressive top-down dismantling approach. Every section of the trunk and branches was carefully rigged and lowered to the ground using a system of ropes and pulleys, preventing any damage to the surrounding structures, gardens, and power lines in the area. The entire operation concluded with stump grinding and a thorough site cleanup.

Historic Building Gutter Cleaning
Assisi (PG)
Gutter cleaning and roof inspection on a historic building in the centre of Assisi. The gutters were completely blocked by leaves, debris, and deposits that had accumulated over the years, causing water infiltration that was damaging the masonry below. Using rope access techniques, we carried out the work without scaffolding, minimising the visual and logistical impact in an area of great historical and artistic significance. In addition to thoroughly cleaning the entire rainwater collection system, we inspected the condition of the roof tiles and reported to the owner those areas requiring maintenance to prevent future infiltration problems.

Private Park Maintenance
Deruta (PG)
Complete maintenance of a 5,000 square metre private park in Deruta. The park had been neglected for several years and required a thorough restoration including care of the tall trees and management of the green areas. We pruned 15 trees including cypresses, holm oaks and lime trees, removing dead branches, lightening the crowns and restoring a harmonious shape. At the same time, we trimmed and shaped the perimeter hedges of laurel and boxwood, carried out a general cleanup of the area removing brambles and invasive vegetation, and prepared the ground for subsequent lawn reseeding. The result was the complete transformation of the green space into a well-maintained and welcoming garden.

Diseased Oak Removal
Torgiano (PG)
Removal of an oak severely affected by fungal pathogens that were compromising its structural stability, located in the garden of a private property in Torgiano. A preliminary investigation using a sonic tomograph had revealed an extensive area of internal cavity in the main trunk, with a loss of resistant cross-section exceeding 60 percent. Given the tree's proximity to the house and the public road, removal was urgent for safety reasons. We carried out a controlled felling with top-down dismantling, lowering each piece safely to avoid damage to the garden and surrounding structures. The intervention secured the area and prevented risks to both people and property.

Monumental Plane Tree Cabling
Spoleto (PG)
Installation of a dynamic cabling system on a monumental plane tree approximately 150 years old in the centre of Spoleto. The tree, of considerable historical and landscape value, had a main fork at about 4 metres height with an included bark union, posing a serious risk of structural failure. Following a thorough stability assessment using the VTA method and instrumental analysis, we installed a system of dynamic cables in the upper crown to reduce the load on the critical fork and limit oscillations during strong winds. The intervention preserved this magnificent historic specimen without altering its appearance, while ensuring the safety of the public area below.
